There are 35,000 deaf children in the UK and three more are born deaf every day. Ninety percent of deaf children are born to hearing parents with little or no experience of deafness or knowledge of how to communicate with their deaf child. NDCS offers support through the family as well as directly supporting deaf children and young people themselves to enable them to acheive their true potential.

NDCS relies on voluntary income and donations to enable them to continue providing the high level of services that are available to families of deaf children, so please give generously and support our challenge!
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The National Deaf Children's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
