I will be running the Manchester 10K on 17th May 2009. It's not a marathon but it'll do for now! I'm running for Alzheimers support and The Alzheimers Society; online donations are going to Alzheimers Support and the offline monies to Alzheimers Society. With your help I hope to raise as much money as possible.

I've chosen these charities as my Grandad or Pops as I knew him, passed away last year and I'd like to do something in tribute to him. In his later life he was diagnosed with Alzheimers and it was really sad to see him change so much. He was a legend and I do miss him so I'd like to help research into Alzheimers even if it's just a small amount.
