Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I am sitting here sipping on the complimentary can of London Pride I was given in my goody bag, feeling, well, quite proud about my achievement yesterday. I managed to stay running throughout and ended in a time of 4 hours 36 minutes. I ran with a friend (Jane) and some of her friends and I'd like to thank them for making the event extra special and for keeping me going at the end.

The weather was superb (almost a little too superb) and the atmosphere was amazing. We enjoyed running past wombles, mr men, rhinos and a camel, thankfully it wasn't the other way around. The first 15 miles of the race were very jolly but then came the business end and the runners all got a little quieter and the crowd seemed to get a little louder. The last 6 miles were especially painful but I'm pleased to say I got a second wind for the last mile and sort of had a sprint finish.

At about mile 8 I felt a tap on my shoulder and it was an early stage PSC sufferer who had spotted my T-shirt (I think his name was Ewan), I hope he did well and got the time he wanted.

Thanks to all who sponsored me and supported me.

All the best

Will
