SMA UK is a national charity supporting anyone affected by spinal muscular atrophy, a rare genetic, neuromuscular condition that causes muscle weakness and loss of movement. We offer support and information and advocate on issues important to the SMA Community.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On 13th of October I am off to walk the Wall of China.  The aim is to raise £3000 for the Jennifer Trust, the charity that supports famililes affected with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a degenerative muscular condition which is the leading genetic killer of infants and toddlers.  My good friend John's daughter, Mia, has SMA Type3.

At the moment there is no cure for this awful condition but the Jennifer Trust is at the forefront of research and thus every penny raised is invaluable and may provide the breakthrough that is desparately hoped for.

Here's where you come in!  If you are able to sponsor John or myself with any sum at all you will help us to achieve our target (£3000 each).  Even the smallest amount will be gratefully received.

Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Jennifer Trust for SMA will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Please note, all the money raised goes to the Jennifer Trust.

So please sponsor me now!  Many thanks for your support.

Love and best wishes,

Willy
