Story
Please support Trinity’s Trustees, Volunteers and Staff who, on 16 September, are going on a 12 mile sponsored walk to raise funds for Trinity Winchester and the Winchester Churches Night Shelter. Why? - because in the last year :
· Trinity helped over 70 homeless people to find a home
· Over 900 individuals were helped by Trinity with up to 70 people regularly attend the Centre each day.
Trinity Women's Service supported over 30 women suffering from domestic violence
Trinity not just provides for basic needs such as food, washing facilities and medical care, but helps people to move on by:
Providing adult eduction courses in such areas as cooking, IT etc.
Assisting with producing CVs for job applications
Each night in Winchester 20 people will be sleeping rough. That is in addition to the 15 sleeping in the Winchester Churches Night Shelter and many others sleeping on the sofa in another person's house or other insecure accomodation.
Please give generously to support the work of both charities, both of which rely on local support for their work.
