My story

 

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, W'indy 500...

In 2009 a new charity, Windsurfing 4 Cancer Research (W4CR), begun raising money for a range of Cancer research foundations.   The whole UK windsurfing community took to the water during National Windsurfing Week raising thousands of pounds in total.

Next year, on 2nd May 2010, the event is repeated.  I have planned my own challenge during National Windsurfing Week - to raise £500 for W4CR by completing 500 crossings of a lake in 500 minutes (about 8 hours sailing, and a total of around 50 miles, or twice across the English Channel!).
