Story

On Saturday 12th February 2011, a group of Wingate & Finchley FC supporters will be braving the Winter conditions and walking the 13 miles from the Abrahams Stadium in Finchley to Waltham Abbey’s ground in Essex, arriving in time (all being well!) for kick off at 3pm.

The walk is part of Wingate & Finchley FC’s fund raising work for Jewish Blind and Disabled (JBD) who provide purpose built modern mobility apartments for people of all ages who are physically disabled or vision impaired. The charity is particular important to the club who are proud of their Jewish heritage, and wider links with the Jewish community in North London.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – the club will raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep for this worthwhile cause. Even the smallest contribution can make a difference!
