<p>Winston was a popular and long standing member of Highgate who was passionate about tennis, playing a very active role in the club. Lesley, Winston’s partner asked that money raised from the annual Winston Edwards Tournament be used to support the development of our talented juniors.</p>
<p>Tennis is an expensive game and as juniors progress they need to travel to the higher grade tournaments, to play with better players and improve their ratings, sometimes with long distance travel and overnight accommodation. Fund money, from both the tournament and the justgiving donations here, makes a real difference to juniors it supports, giving them the opportunity to be the best that they can be.</p>
