Medical Detection Dogs trains dogs to detect the odour of disease. Our research includes cancer, Parkinson's and other diseases and could save millions of lives by improving diagnostics. We already help people manage complex, life-threatening medical conditions by training Medical Alert Dogs.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This fundraising event, sponsored by collarways, will highlight the importance of visibility when dog walking, especially when the nights draw in at autumn time.

We will also be raising money for Medical Detection Dogs who train specialist assistance dogs to help save the lives of people with medical conditions such as type 1 diabetes and Addison’s disease. The charity would like to help more people with life threatening and disabling medical conditions, but can only do so through continued financial support from the public.

We will be walking in the dark around a local area in Leicestershire (More information on the Walk in the Dark website).

Please sponsor us and raise money for a great cause.
