End to End 3 Peaks · 18 March 2013

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year, from the 4th-18th May, I, along with three others will be cycling the length of the UK from John O'Groats to Lands End, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon ('The Three Peaks') on the way.

This is an epic challenge that will see us cycle roughly 1100 miles and climb three mountains over 3000ft in 14 days. We'll be completely unsupported during the ride, carrying everything we need with us on our bikes and we'll be camping on the way.

Alzheimer Scotland do great work all across the country helping sufferers of dementia, their carers and their families. Please donate all you can for this great cause, it's your donations that will keep me going when I'm cycling into a headwind in a torrential downpour!

Just £15 will pay for a basic information pack to be sent to a carer in response to a call to Alzheimer Scotland. £25 will pay for 500 information booklets to be distributed through local services across Scotland. £50 could cover the costs of a selection of books, videos and CDs to help with reminiscence work in day care centres.

Please do remember to click gift aid as it does make a massive difference.

Thank you!
