My story

I am sorry you are unable to attend the 2012 WOMAC Party but thank you for visiting our JustGiving site to make a donation.

For 2012, WOMAC has pledged its support to Action Against Cancer. The charity was founded by Hilary Craft, a businesswoman who has suffered with breast cancer, lung cancer and leukaemia for 13 years. The charity supports the development of cures for cancer at Imperial College, led by Professor Justin Stebbing, a world leading Professor of Cancer Medicine.

Your support will help pay for a 'LightCycler'. This cutting edge machine will provide Professor Stebbing and his team with a deeper insight into the make-up of cancer-causing genes. This will allow them to develop improved tests to diagnose, and drugs to treat, breast cancer, lung cancer and pancreatic cancer.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.  Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.  Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to WOMAC and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.  So it’s the most efficient way to donate.

Thank you so much for your donation, we are very grateful for your support.

WOMAC is made up of volunteers, all working in the automotive industry who raise money every year for cancer charities. For more details please visit www.womac.co.uk.
