well everyone, here i am actually keeping fit and with an energy drink in my hand rather than a beer, dont be all shocked at once, its an even bigger shock for me haha! Well those of you who know me are aware i am running the Leicester Half Marathon on Oct 10th for a very important reason, raising money for The Daisy Garland Charity that has a special place in my heart. The charity helps children cope with epilepsy by funding specialist Ketogenic dieticians in hospitals all around the UK, this can only be achieved by contributions from the very generous public. The charity was set up in memory of Daisy Garland who sadly passed away 2 days after her 6th birthday in her sleep from SUDEP ( sudden unexpected death in epilepsy patients ) Daisy was on the Ketogenic Diet for some time which just about reduced all of her seizures until that very sad day when she left us. The funding we recieve is very important so all of you guys in Australia who know me get them Dollars out and for all you peeps in the Uk that know me, used to go school with me, used to take the mickey out of me lol, please dig deep and find any amount you can afford to donate to this wonderful charity and for the pleasure in watching me sweat it out for a 13.1 mile run, haha...thanking you all from the bottom of my heart. for more information on the charity go to www.thedaisygarland.org.uk
