On the 19th of April 2009 i ran the Redcar half marathon to raise funds for Help for Heroes, I completed the 13.1 miles wearing boots and carrying a 40 pound Bergan on my back in the highly respectable time of 2 hours 20 minutes and 15 seconds.

As a serving soldier, Help for Heroes is a charity that i have a huge respect for as i know many people who have benifited form its fundraising.
