Worcester - Brest Challenge · 6 March 2013

It aims to provide a dedicated facility in the County for people with breast cancer and other breast related problems

Story

The Challenge: We're cycling the 240 miles from Brest (in France) to Worcester to raise funds for the Worcester Breast Unit – get the link?

The Team: Mark Chatburn, Ian Woodley, Eliot Davies, Neil Morris and Gill Round – plus support vehicle and driver (Mrs W).

The Date: Starting in France on Thursday 27th June, we hoping to arrive at the Crowngate, Worcester on Saturday 29th June.

The Details: We're hoping to raise £10 for each mile we cycle. While we are on the road, local cyclists will be on static bikes in Crowngate, attempting to complete the 280 miles during Saturday 29th. We're hoping to have GPS tracking with us, so the team in Crowngate can follow our progress, and try and beat us to the finish!

We are busy training, and have completed several 160km rides and more to follow, so please dig deep and donate now – otherwise I'll be uploading those lycra photos!
