Worcester to Paris Cycle Non-Stop!

Worcester to Paris non-stop · 23 August 2015
Phil Kelly has previously ridden Land’s End to John O'Groats and earlier this year challenged me to cycle around 300 miles from Worcester to Paris this August (23rd - 24th), and he promised to join me! We're cycling as much of the route as possible non-stop, other than a 4 hour ferry journey between Newhaven & Dieppe.
We had no hesitation in choosing St Richard's Hospice as the charity to raise money for as we've both been affected by someone close having cancer. It's such a fantastic cause and we both know that no matter how tough our challenge is it's nothing in comparison to what some families are facing. The support St Richard's gave when Sarah's father spent the last two years of his life battling cancer was amazing.
We both have
busy family lives so we've been mainly training early in the morning
before everyone wakes up! It hasn't been easy finding the time but that's all part of the challenge.
You can track my training and follow the epic ride on Strava (search; David Lloyd-Rumens) and I'll be posting updates along the way on the Sub Studio Facebook & Twitter pages.
