Dear friends, family and travel enthusiasts,
Our 30,000 kilometer cycling expediton through Africa is more than just the relization of a personal dream: we are also cycling to raise funds for The Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED). This is an international aid organization that promotes education for girls in Africa.
Here's how your donation can help:
- £5/month can ensure a vulnerable girl completes her secondary education
- £20/ month can train a young person in secretarial skills, sewing or IT at a vocational center
- £25 can provide basic necessities such as food and clothing for a child left vulnerable by the aids crisis
- £70 can provide educational resources including books and sports equipment for a rural school
- £125 can provide a rural woman with a micro-loan so that she can set up her own business in her community
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. Our trip is 100% self-financed which means 100% of the amount you donate goes directly to CAMFED. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts for CAMFED. If you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
