I'VE DONE IT!
It took me 4 hours and 9 minutes to cross the finishing line but I got there. I thought that after the loss of my mam on the 14th March (thanks Macmillan for the care) followed by a three week back injury which meant no training for the 5 weeks before the marathon that I wouldn't even make the start line never mind the finish. I have to give a big thanks to my running partner Richard who gave up the chance to record a really great finish time. After 21/22 miles he kept on whipping up the crowd for me and dragged me on to the finish.

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
On the 10th April 2005 (the week before the 2005 London Marathon) I will reach the once unthinkable personal milestone of 40 years of age. Since I started running I'd always sworn never to tackle a marathon but this year seemed different somehow......
