Welsh 3000s · 6 May 2009

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

In summer last year, Wright & Morten lost a valuable member of their team.  Peter Potts worked tirelessly as the practice handyman, always ready to help anyone.  Shortly after his 65th birthday he suffered a heart attack, and complications have left him with a permanent brain injury, requiring full time care.  It is uncertain what his future holds.  This summer, the staff at Wright & Morten plan to give something back to Peter and the excellent work they do at Headway, a charity set up to help people with injuries just like Peter's.

On June 20th & 21st, a team from the practice are going to complete the Welsh 3000s, 14 peaks and 25 miles through Snowdonia.  we hope to raise 3000 pounds towards Peter's future and Headway.  Please help Peter and Headway by sponsoring us today.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
