Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. If you're here because you know one of us the story may be familiar: this is our third year riding our bikes to support All Saints Church in Wytham. 2013 was 50 churches in 40 miles; 2014 was 70 miles from Lord's Cricket Ground to Wytham via 11 churches, and 2015 is 100 miles from the most northerly parish in Oxfordshire to the most southerly and then back to Wytham. So that's more miles, but fewer churches guaranteed.

We're excited to welcome a new team member in the shape of Dave Crutchley (an actual Wytham resident) and hope to announce some additional team members and/or guest riders joining us for some of the route in due course.

We'll be grateful ahead of times to our support crew (thanks for committing early Bob and Cath).

As we've said in previous years this our small way of thanking the Wytham community for their welcome and letting us play cricket in one of the most perfect villages in England. The roof appeal continues and we're all hoping to support All Saints and other historic buildings across Oxfordshire.

And as last year every sponsor will be invited to the finish line and subsequent pints in The White Hart of Wytham. Please support us in whatever way you can.

About the charity

The OHCT gives grants to Oxfordshire churches of all Christian denominations for major fabric repairs (walls, roofs, floors and windows). Bells, organs, clocks, new toilets and kitchens may also get grants. The annual Ride and Stride is currently the biggest source of income for the OHCT.
