Story

On Sunday 6th December, Xact's directors (Jon Brydges and Ben Baverstock) will be taking part in the Helly Hansen Challenge Series Triathlon in the mud and puddles of Camberley, Surrey to raise money for Action for Children.

The triathlon comprises a 10k run (inc obstacle course), 25k cycling and 1.5k kayak canoeing.

Please note that this is a different event to Byte Night which we originally planned to take part in.

It is a shocking statistic that still today in 2009 over a third of all new cases of homelessness are young people aged under 25. Action for Children believe that all children and young people deserve better than this and so do we.

By sponsoring us today, you can help change the course of a young life.  For example, a donation of just £25 could keep the doors of one of Action for Children’s projects open for one hour, helping them reach out to young people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

We, like everyone else understand that times are tough, but times are even tougher for the children and young people Action for Children supports.  Now more than ever they need your support.

So please, sponsor us now or send a cheque made payable to Action for Children to Xact Placements Ltd, 99 London Street, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 4QA.

Thank you for all your support
