Im taking part in the greater Manchester run as its a cause close to my heart as mine and my partners daughter Millie Mai Evans was born prematurely at just 29 weeks......sadly we only got to spend 10 very precious days with her :(((((( She became ill after developing a chest infection that she wasn't strong enough to fight off. It was the hardest thing in the world having to watch your child suffer and slip away right in front of your eyes and theres nothing at all you can do to stop it. At the neo natal unit in wigan they desperately need new equipment to help support premature babies so things like this dont happen. Im hoping that by me taking part in this run that I can help to make a difference and help stop other parents having to go through the same thing me and Gareth did.
