14:04:08 Well there you are! I finished in a time of just under 4 hours, and have now completed the world's biggest charity exhibition run. A big thank you to everyone who has supported me through this site, it means a lot to me. I'm off for a massage and a haircut. TTFN. Hello. My name is Jim and I'm a really bad runner. I'm slow, I enjoy beer, I play computer games too much and last year I got a Christmas card from my local curry house (Fact!) This year I will be running in the 2008 Flora London Marathon. This will be my 3rd marathon in total, but my first in our nations capital. in 2005 I missed out on the chance to run my first London Marathon after being diagnosed with cancer. Thankfully, with the help and support of my family and friends accompanied with the expertise and care of my doctors, surgeons and nurses I was able to pull through and have now been All Clear for nearly three years. I have chosen to run for the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation for a number of reasons. Mainly because Sir Bobby is a hero of mine and his passion for football is matched only by his commitment and determination to overcome his own battles with cancer over the last decade and a half. For more information I strongly recommend you visit www.sirbobbyrobsonfoundation.org.uk where you will find out exactly where your money will go. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, and thank you for leaving a donation for what is a very worthwhile cause. Don't Forget to also tick the Gift Aid box, as an honest Tax Paying British citizen, you get to force old Gordon Brown to cough up 28% extra in tax cash money for the cause! (Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals Nhs Charity will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.)
Many thanks for your support.
