Dear friends,
In a few weeks I will be embarking on a journey to Nepal as an Art Volunteer for the Esther Benjamin’s Trust, an inspiring group of heroes who rescue and rehabilitate Nepali children who have been trafficked, abandoned, left to fend for themselves while a parent serves a jail sentence, or even grow up in jail.
The invitation to come to Nepal arrived in my inbox on January 1st and moved and inspired me mightily. I was touched by the story of Philip Holmes who whilst dealing with his wife’s suicide (due to childlessness) resolved to provide vulnerable children home and hope.
Esther worked with Holocaust survivors and Philip is now providing new life for these child survivors, and it's a privilege for me to join the EBT team and bring my love and skills to these youngsters.
While in Nepal I'm planning to join Philip on a trek with a difference to Annapurna and raise funds for EBT in support of it's incredible activities. I'd like to invite you to contribute to this effort, in whatever way you can.
