Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

After going through some Ergometry and Echocardiography tests earlier this year, the doctors said that the ol' pump is in "good working order" and that it still has a few years left in it before it will have to go through an overhaul to replace the aortic valve, so I went on and registered for my next cycling challenge;

On July 31st 2011 I'll be riding from Oxford to Cambridge, 2 of UK's most famous university cities. 89 miles through the English countryside, raising money for the British Heart Foundation. I plan to start early and have set 6.5 hours as my target for finishing the course (6 for riding and half an hour for 2-3 short stops)

The BHF helps me and thousands of others in the fight for beating heart desease.

My family, as always, will be there to support me and to pick me up from Cambridge.

I've started training at the beginning of April, as I train for this ride, I will be updating my blog regularly, so that you can follow my progress: yaya's blog
