Story
<p><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;">Cricket in the Classroom allows children (aged between 7 and 11) time out of the school classroom to develop key skills within a sporting environment. Each session lasts for 3 1/2 hours, during which the children enjoy a full coaching session </span><span style="font-family: verdana,geneva; font-size: small;">(batting, bowling, stopping, throwing, catching, fair play), develop ICT skills within the Headingley Learning Centre, have a tour of the Headingley Carnegie Stadium, and learn about the heritage of Yorkshire cricket within the Headingley Museum of Cricket.</span></p>
<p><br />The current funding for this programme ends on 31 March 2011 and the YCF are therefore raising funds to ensure the programme continues until at least July 2012.</p>

<p>Monies raised will be used to pay for teaching staff, coaching staff, facility hire, equipment and teaching materials.</p>
