You'll notice I'm wearing my work uniform. Before we start, I'd like to thank NatWest for their support with my fundraiser. Not only have they agreed to let me shave my hair (if it comes to it!) even though I work with customers in one of our largest branches, they've also agreed to give Macmillan another £250 if I raise over £250 with your help.

I'm trying to raise money for Macmillan because they were THERE for us when both my partners parents were diagnosed with cancer.

I can't stress that enough - they were there. They supplied us all with information, advice, even practical help when things got really bad - and, for that, I'm eternally grateful.

Sadly, both his parents passed away within six months of each other but I'd like to show my appreciation for the work they do - and I'd like to help them be there for other people. At some point, every person is touched by cancer, directly or indirectly.

I want to help them be there for you too, when you need it.
