Yes i'm off to trek to the base camp of the world's highest mountain. It will take me through the valleys of Sagarmatha National Park, exploring its villages and monasteries and looking for a pet Yeti along the way lol.

Then i will be in the Nepalese Himalayas where eight of the world's fourteen peaks that exceed 8,000m. With the highest of them all, standing at 8,848m, is Mt. Everest. Ill be treking roughly 5,000 meters up to the base camp.

Training and fundraising is going to be an interesting challenge I have already used £500 of my own money to make this happen and thaks to kind others the cost of this expadition has already been met so any money donated will go straight to Cancer Research UK.

So why do this seemingly crazy thing - well I know the devestation cancer can cause to wehter the out come is good or bad. I know that Cancer Research offers alot of support to anyone having to go through this ordeal and working towards making it a thing of the past.

So please do dig deep even if its only a few pounds.

I was given the go a head to run two seprate concerts at two of the music centres that I work at.

Also June Emerson Wind Music has kindly donated a big load of music to help us run it so big thank you to them.

Eating a piggy (hogroast) and Jazz will be going a head in June (fingers crossed doesn't rain) any meat eaters fancy it do get in touch.
