| Our personal message: |
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. I think most people are touched by Cancer at some point in their lives. Be it your Grandma or Grandad, Mother or Father, Brother or Sister, Friend or Family or even yourself. It is a problem that affects everyone, no matter where you are from or how you live your life. The Yorkshire Cancer Centre is a brand new world-class £220m, oncology wing which replaces Cookridge Cancer Centre, and opened it’s doors for the first time in December 2007. It will deliver unparalleled levels of cancer treatment and care to a catchment area of 2.2m people. Our capital appeal to raise £10m in three years will further enhance the facilities for Yorkshire cancer patients and ensure that this superlative Centre - the largest of its kind in Europe, remains at the leading edge in cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support.
