The Yorkshire Cancer Centre is a brand new world-class £220m, oncology wing which replaces Cookridge Cancer Centre, and opened it’s doors for the first time in December 2007. It will deliver unparalleled levels of cancer treatment and care to a catchment area of 2.2m people.
Our capital appeal to raise £10m in three years will further enhance the facilities for Yorkshire cancer patients and ensure that this superlative Centre - the largest of its kind in Europe, remains at the leading edge in cancer diagnosis, treatment and care.
