This is the 30th year of the MARACYCLE, Belfast-Dublin-Belfast over Saturday and Sunday 28 and 29 June.  I am doing it, along with probably a couple of thousand others, partly because I need a goal to get fit for, and also to raise a bit of cash to send some kids that we work with in Eastern Romania to camp. These are exclusively Roma children from very poor villages, and for £5,000 we could sponsor about 100 of them.  If we raise more than that we can use it for the support of a faithful YFC couple, Stefan & Emilia Grancea, who work all the year round in these villages.

Thanks for anything you can do.  A fiver will be brilliant, £50 will take care of one kid's costs - and everything donated will strengthen my motivation when I hit "The Wall" - probably at about 10.00am on the way down on Saturday morning!
