The plan is that a team of eight Flexwing pilots fly from Perth up the coast to Darwin and then down again across to Brisbane We start July 12 and aim to finish five weeks later. This is the largest group to ever attempt this challenge. Sponsorship is being sought to benefit Leukaemia Research as members of the team have family who suffered, both recently and in the past. We want to help fund the research required to eradicate this disease.

Australia, while it is vast, (which adds to the challenge), has the infrastructure and climate to lend itself well to a supported adventure. All associated costs are being funded by the pilots and ground crew who will be tasking themselves to fund raising as well as the rigours of the Outback.
