In April 2009, I will take part in the 4 bi-annual ‘Polar Race’ – dubbed ‘the world’s toughest race’. I will race for 4 weeks, across 400 miles of arctic tundra in temperatures of -40 degrees, pulling 50kg of equipment and supplies on a sledge behind me to reach the North Pole, and by doing so, become one of fewer than 400 people to have set foot on either Pole.
I am using the race to raise money for the Youth Sport Trust- a charity that I am hugely proud to be supporting and that I am a passionate advocate of their work.
To follow the race, sign up for daily e mails across April at www.polar-race.com
Thanks for your support,
Adrian
