My story
Firstly, can I just say a BIG thanks to everyone that has donated & been there for us lately, we are so grateful! 
The kindness & generosity of people has just overwhelmed us.

Our gorgeous wee man Zach was sadly taken from us on the 10th March 2008, aged 6 months & 10 days, by meningococcal septicaemia, he was a bit sick all day, as he was most days dear love him, but under no circumstances did we expect the extent of what was really happening. Not a rash on his wee body until we reached the hospital at 6pm.....he was dead at 7.10pm. Meningitis UK desperately need funds for vital research into finding a vaccine for this. Anything you give will be much appreciated, no matter how big or small

Well.......Track 4 Zach went really, really well, such a good turnout, BIG massive thanks to all that took part, from the nurses to the dog! 
Then, the fundraising/karaoke evening we held at Maloney's that night was excellent, as far as I can remember anyway 
So far, there has been £3500 sent over to Meningitis UK and there are still a few people that haven't given in their sponsor money so it's all good!!
Darren and I also took part in the big walk done by Meningitis UK in May, started at Templepatrick and did rightly if I say so myself!! We rasied £221 from family & friends, plus whatever was lifted on the day (around £2000) BIG thanx 2 June, Billy & Glengormley Gospel Hall
Special thanks to our good friends Leeann, Paul, Karen & Pickle Leeann & Paul kindly donated £200 in lieu of their wedding favours when they were married in August, in Zach's memory. After we were burgled in July, Karen & Pickle gave us a cheque for £150 to help cover the charity money that was stolen from the house, it's acts like this that show how compassionate people really are.
We also have collections boxes in various businesses around Newtownabbey so be sure to throw in your spare change if you see one......ta x x

Can I also say a massive THANK-YOU to Crown Defenders Online Forum for the tournament they ran in Zach's name, the money raised has gone to LIFE AFTER LOSS, another charity close to my heart & one that I'll be doing a bit more fundraising for in the future, the tophy was called the Zach Moore Memorial Cup & hopefully this wil b an annual event, so Thanks again lads, much appreciated xxx
