Story
Salam Alaykum guys, u never guess what, I’m going to be walking 81km from Najaf to Karbala. You know how long that takes? 3 days!!!!!!! I’m seriously freaking out, but then again I’m quite excited as well, as the donations will go to The Zahra Trust which has a water well creation programme in Afghanistan where over 50% of the population does not have access to clean water, shocking? I know!!! When I started this project I think the most disturbing fact I found out about was that nearly every 8 seconds a child dies from dirty water :(
STOP the cries of Al Atash & join The Zahra Trust’s efforts in providing clean safe water to the vulnerable.
£50 may help provide the bucket for the water well
£100 may help provide the foundation of the water well
£1000 may help provide the bricks/cement for the water well
£1570 will build a complete shallow water well providing a short term solution to the water famine in a village
£2200 will build a complete medium water well for a number of people
£3130 will build a complete deep water well allowing pipes to be laid in order to provide running water in every house in a village.
£Its up to you, donate towards the Al Zahra Hawza water project in the Bahminyan province which has a capacity of 500 students to educate and produce scholars. However due to under development of facilities is at less than 10% capacity. The hawza is in current need of running water, so click the donation tab and give what you can.
Donations may also go to other Zahra Trust projects.
So please dig deep guys, don’t let another 8 seconds go past….
