My story

We are a bunch of students from Bournemouth University in the UK who are using our spare time to host an internet webcast Zelda marathon to celebrate both the 25th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda franchise and the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword release on the Wii. We are also trying to raise lots of money for GamesAid a UK based Charity along the way!

START DATE: 10:00am on the 11th November 2011

GamesAid act as a broker for several UK non-profits which changes every year so when you donate you are infact helping all of these charities:

Winston’s Wish - http://www.winstonswish.org.uk/
SpecialEffect – http://www.specialeffect.org.uk/
Action For Kids (AFK) – http://www.actionforkids.org/
The Willow Foundation – http://www.willowfoundation.org.uk/
The Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability (RHN) – http://www.rhn.org.uk/

Please visit our website zeldagamesaid.co.uk and watch the live stream, and if possible make a donation, early donations are also welcome! If you can't donate money then please at the very least donate us your voice, twitter and facebook profiles to tell all of your friends and family about us, what we are doing and see if they can help!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
