I am a Fundraiser for the Cobalt Appeal Fund Crack Cancer Campaign in the Cheltenham, Tewkesbury, North Cotswolds and Worcestershire areas, I love my job and take my work seriously.

So much so that I am - atlast - walking the 105 miles of the fantastic Cotswold Way from Bath up to Chipping Campden.  An ambition I have held for over 20 years.

Taking this on in my own personal time, I have joined an organised walk by the Cotswolds Wardens.  A group of 25 of us walk 10 miles on the first Wednesday of each month.  We started from Bath on 3rd May and what a haul that was!

Last Wednesday, 1st November we walked from Coopers Hill to Seven Springs and whilst the weather was absolutely brilliant, the walking was - as usual - challenging!  I'm certainly earning my sponsorship for you.  Now well over half way, we are all of us, still really enjoying the walk and each other's company.

Think of me on the first Wednesday of each month throughout the coming winter months until 7th March 2007 by which time the Cotswold Way will be firmly under my belt and with your help, my fundraising target will be met if not exceeded!
