Hi, thanks for visiting our fundraising page  Well, WE DID IT! We stomped our way along the cycle path to various destinations and raised a massive £50.47 in the process. Many thanks to all those on the cycle path who generously donated their spare change  Carol, Loz, Nick and I managed to run the whole 9.5 miles - some looked a little fresher than others when they finished - and Rob, Mason & James managed it on bikes and scooters. Rebecca, Lea, Karim, Justin, Jane and Lucy also managed the full 9.5 miles, collecting money on the way. Somebody asked me, when I whizzed by them at high speed, why I wasn't asking for money ... my first response was that I couldn't talk and run and secondly I couldn't carry my own water so there was no chance of me carrying a bucket!! Donna and Brin did a sterling job of stomping and collecting money, even if by the end Brin didn't think it very funny any more  Trudy, Mike, Jess, Dan, Frank, Charlotte and the dogs all managed the Bird in Hand and back! Many of you will know that the statistics for knowing someone who is or has suffered with cancer are very high. We at the ladies club of Zenshin Dojo are feeling first hand the effects of this devastating illness. It is for this reason that we felt compelled to do something to help make a difference.
