Story

The Capital Delivery Leadership Team is taking part in the 5-20 Challenge on Friday 9 September. The challenge is to carry 20 litres of water across London, covering 5 Miles, facing a number of logical challenges along the way! The significance of the 5 miles and 20 litres is that this is a typical distance and quanty many people in developing countries have to cover every day to provide drinking water for their familiies. All the money raised will contribute to Thames Water's "4 for Bangladesh" initiative, with the aim of raising £2m for WaterAid focussed on projects in Bangladesh over the next four years.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
