Zero to Ultra - 320 kilometres in less than 100 days. · 17 February 2013

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

On 22 January 1995 I quit competitive running.

On 12 July 2012 I made my competitive comeback.

On 11 May 2013 I will be running a 40 mile Ultra marathon, raising money for Alzheimer Scotland.

Between now and then I have set myself a target of running 320km (200 miles) in competitive races and training.

You track my progress on my website: www.zerotoultra.org

Oh, and did I mention that I may run it ‘barefoot’?
