Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

We did it!!!

The Casualty Claims Team from Zurich Insurance in Farnborough took on the 3 Peak Challenge on 2-3 July 2009.   We  climbed Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, back to back, thats a long 27 miles and over 3300 metres climb in total, no easy task, with only a few strains, sprains and blisters along the way.

Split into 2 teams, aptly named Peaking Nora and Freaks on the Peaks, the team members are Wayne Grice, Janine Ward, Chris Craig, Alan Donnelly, Jackie O'Brien, Rob Wareham, Simon Howells, Guy Morgan, Chris McCaul, Jonah Lee, Alan Hawkins, Lynn Keel, Ruby Goble, James Pelling,  Peter Hiscutt,  Andy Woolfrey, Paul Griffiths and Steven Ryles plus our valuable support crew of Jill Fox, Dina Peshawaria, Steve Gill and Charles Hughes.  Please show your support for all those who trained hard to compete, plus our valuable support crew and give generously.

Prostate Cancer charities are unfortunately not given the high profile cover of other charities so we are on a mission to raise as much money as possible for this equally valuable cause.  Every donation will be 50% matched by Zurich (so your £1 becomes £1.50), so please donate as much or as little as you can afford for this worthwhile cause.

Thank you
