My story
Hello all... and thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Ok, as people who know of me, (and if you don’t, and just happen to pass through) a brief introduction. I have been involved in charity work for years now, it’s a cause close to me and to put it simply, I want to help those that need it and try making a difference. And I would like to think I have done this and continue to.
Project for 2012...well I’m going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and make it look effortless .
Why Kilimanjaro?
Simple, for me it’s a metaphoric entity. Being the Biggest Mountain in the African continent, the very thing that seems so overpowering and I want to conquer it! If I can do this, I can take on any challenge and help Africa through its worse.
The Cause Africa
Never has a continent been so affected by famine than Africa, Niger, Sudan, Somalia to name but the few. The statistics alone would shock you on how many people have died or just lack the things we take for granted. Clean water, food!
Now witnessing it first hand, and working there truly opens your eyes. So I’m doing this in order to raise money for awareness, food, aid, and a chance for the people to live!
