Story
Sue was a very special wife, mother, sister and friend. She had an incredible ability to brighten the lives of those around her, with her infectious smile, caring nature and wicked sense of humour.
She spent most of her life caring for those around her and dedicated almost 40 years caring for those in the NHS. In 2019 Sue got diagnosed with cancer, which devastated her family and friends giving her caring nature. Throughout her treatment, she continued to smile and live her life surrounded by her friends and family.
In the final few weeks of Sue's life, she was moved to St David's hospice, where she was more comfortable and felt more at home. St David's offered her a range of services such as bath's, treatments and cooked food. As well as caring about the families wellbeing, enabling them to stay by Sue's side throughout. As we believed that Sue's treatment from St David's was excellent and we can't thank them enough we are raising money in Sue's memory to help those In a similar position to Sue and her family.
