Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby. Our vision is that through the power of rugby every child and young person across the UK & Ireland, no matter what their background has access to the same opportunities.

Story

On 7th December 2020, we tragically lost our good friend Tom.

We are challenging ourselves this March to run 100 miles each in memory of Tom. Tom inspired us both with his amazing attitude to life and his immense daily step count, due to the love of his sport! We want to push ourselves to #bemoretom and raise some money for a charity that offers rugby to every child and young person no matter what their background.

One thing that really stood out about Tom was his passion for rugby, and how he wanted it to be inclusive to all. Wooden Spoon gives disadvantaged children across the UK the opportunity to have a go at rugby. We are inspired by Toms enthusiasm for inclusivity and would love to support a charity that enables this to happen, as their mission is; "To positively transform the lives of children and young people with disabilities or facing disadvantage across the UK and Ireland, through the power of rugby".

We are aiming to raise £500, any donations no matter how small would be gratefully appreciated.

Thank you, Scarlett & Sophia xx
