Story
In 2018 for the Third year running (no pun intended) I will be taking on the 10K a Day in May Challenge raising vital funds for Wakefield Hospice.
Last year was phenomenal with so much local support and over 50 people joined me over the course of May to assist in my quest to raise £6,500.
By raising money for the Hospice, this is my way of saying thank you for not only the wonderful support that they gave to my Mum and I, but the support they give to my community.
I'm ultimately on a mission to eventually raise £100,000 to help towards patient care.
This year's target is set at £10,000. Collectively as a team, I hope this is achievable!
The Challenge had a little warm up this time around, and in December, I ran the 12K's of Christmas! The plan was to run a combined distance of 78K over 12 Days and raise £78.00 to kick start the fundraising.
Myself and a couple of other people took part and between us we actually managed to raise an amazing £500 over Christmas!
If anyone would like to donate to the 10K challenge this year, or even better, take part; please don't hesitate to get in touch x
