Alice Charity is a local Stoke-based charity who run breakfast clubs (amongst many other things) so children who would otherwise be hungry will start the day off with a full belly.

As a mother of two constantly-hungry growing boys, nothing breaks my heart like even the thought of my children suffering. But for some mums they can't do anything other than watch their children go hungry. We all know there are cases of neglect, but for a good majority of low-income families it is not neglect, it is genuine struggle and poverty that sees their children hungry. 

I'm supporting the charity directly with regular donations of clothes and food, but I need to achieve something tangible this year (going through some stuff!!) so I thought I'd make something good out of another personal goal. I'm not a natural runner and I basically only run because I enjoy pizza and wine....! I've run 10km once l, before I banjaxed my ankle, so this will still be a huge challenge for me as I am now rehabbing my bad ankle. 

All donations go directly to Alice Charity from this site and are very much appreciated!  The run is 19 May 2019 (not the 2year old date listed above which I can't seem to change.)
