Having suffered from PTSD from a push bike accident in 2000 and having friends in the forces, i wanted to raise awareness for Help For Heroes at at the same time set my elf a personal challenge. In 2013 i will be running 1500 miles in 2013 all in aid of Help For Heroes, this will be an average of 125 miles per month for the whole of 2013, some challenge!!

Help for Heroes provides direct, practical support to wounded, injured and sick Service personnel, veterans, and their families. This is provided through grants to individuals and other Service charities, capital build projects and support for life at our four Recovery Centres across the UK.

I want to help raise awareness for the men & women that have fought for our country, still needing our help even after returning home. Please help me reach my goal & exceed my target, this will not be an easy challenge, nor will it be for the men & women that rely on this charity so much, thank you
