Story

The National Three Peaks Challenge is a well known phrase amongst the more adventurous. This challenge involves climbing the three highest mountains in the UK within 24 hours

Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)
Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1344m)

It is a popular misconception that the three peaks in question are the three highest in Britain. Over one hundred peaks in Scotland are higher than Scafell Pike, and 56 higher than Snowdon

Team 180 Woodley will be undertaking the 3 peaks challenge on Sunday 13th of June 2010 and will doing the following route

5pm Start Ben Nevis.
10pm Finish Ben Nevis and start drive to Scafell Pike (seven hour drive).
5am Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike
10am Finish Scafell Pike and start drive to Snowdon (three hour drive).
1pm Arrive and start climbing Snowdon
5pm Finish Snowdon, and complete challenge
