Story
I've been thinking a lot lately about charities and how we view them, and how we feel about them.
Like many of my friends we support our favourites and would like to support more, but sometimes we just can't support everything and everyone..
I've come up with an idea which I'd like to experiment with, with your help.
Here it is,
Donate 2£ only and share it once on your favourite social media.
My thinking behind this, we all have about 200 friends on social.. you see where I'm going with this.. and no more wondering what to donate.. only £2 That's the limit! No limit on sharing.
So what you say? Want to help me see if micro donations work?
Here's my charity below.. and thanks for taking part.
Perennial is the only charity helping people in horticulture and their families when faced with a life changing event, unexpected crisis or overwhelming challenge, with free and confidential advice and support. During the first week of lockdown with the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of people contacting Perennial for help increased by nearly 400%! Like many charities, our fundraising income has taken a sudden dive, just at the time when demand for our help has increased hugely. We need your help to be able to recruit a new caseworker to ensure that no one who needs our help falls through the net. The aftermath of the Covid-19 outbreak will have long lasting affects for people in the industry, so we implore you to help us put measures in place now to meet the increasing demand for our services. Perennial is often described as a 'lifeline' and to continue to deliver our frontline services, we need your help. Please donate now to support the people who keep Britain beautiful.
