Story

Thanks for visiting our team fundraising page.

On Wednesday 9th August 2017, Leila's cousin, Zac, tragically lost his life in a road traffic accident. Zac was 18 years old.

Zac was a bubbly fun, loving caring young man that always put others first. He had his whole life ahead of him.

He has left a big hole in everyone's hearts and lives.

Together we have decided to trek the Three Peaks Challenge in 24 hours for the two charities that went to the aid on the night of his accident. SARS and East Anglian Air Ambulance, you can decide which charity you support and donate. We appreciate your donations.

About the Three Peaks Challenge:

The Three 3 Peaks Challenge is without doubt one of our most popular treks and one of the toughest at the same time. Climbing the Three Highest Peaks in the home nations: Scotland, England and Wales. Starting with Ben Nevis before heading south for Scafell Pike and then finishing at Snowdon. The challenge is all the more tough as we complete the whole lot in 24 hrs*.

A total of 480 miles of driving, a large part during the night, and climbing a total of almost 3000 vertical metres, makes this a special kind of challenge.

Approximate Itinerary:

06:40 Transfer to Ben Nevis

07:00 morning ascent of Ben Nevis -  Return to vehicle (approx 12:00)

afternoon transfer to Lake district with a service station stop on route

23:00 Return to vehicle Transfer to Snowdon - (catching some sleep on the road where possible)

Sunday
