24 Hour CPR Marathon · 19 January 2016

It is our vision to have nations without drowning where everyone can safely enjoy being in, on or near water. Since 1891 we’ve been sharing our expertise in water safety, lifesaving, and lifeguarding to educate everyone to enjoy water safely.

Story

We are the University of Warwick Lifesaving club. We have decided to do CPR in the Piazza in the middle of January (despite the cold), to raise money for the RLSS UK. This is because they are a charity that are dedicated to education about and the prevention of drowning. 2016 marks the 125th anniversary of the RLSS.

CPR is an important skill and can help save someone's life. It is also incredibly tiring to perform. We will also be giving passers by the opportunity to learn how to perform CPR.
