A few years ago, a representative from The Myton Hospices visited my son's school to give a talk about the work they do. He came away from this inspired to raise money for them and he did this by organising a production of 'The Wizard of Oz'. This was followed by a second show the following year and, with help from his friends, he raised over £2000 in total. Following the example he's set, I've decided it's time for me to step up and also raise some money for this very worthwhile cause. 

The 24 Hour Pianothon will take place at Lillington Free Church, Cubbington Road in Leamington Spa from Fri 25th Oct 8pm - Sat 26th Oct 8pm and will feature an initial 12hr stint from myself, followed by various pianists playing throughout the day on Saturday. It will culminate in a free concert at 7pm on the Saturday evening.

The Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; they focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option. They have to raise £9.2 million this year to continue providing their care, and last year they supported more than 1,800 people and their families, in three hospices, via their patient and family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.
